Hi there!
My name is Ciara and I’m 18. My ambition is to be a model and an actress. I love having my photo taken by Magdalena! I had fun taking part in Wycombe Youth Theatres 2018 production of Oklahoma. I am very sporty and am dedicated to my swimming and judo. I have been to Sweden twice as part of the Rushjudo team. I am proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Swimming GB squad. I have represented GB in Kosovo and Sardinia. I am training hard to qualify for the Down Syndrome European Championships in Italy in 2021.
I am off to Derwen College in Shropshire this September to study Creative Arts, having studied Art, Drama and Photography at school.
Lockdown meant I got to spend precious time with my older sisters, Fionnuala and Eimear. But I couldn’t see my brother Conor who works in Ireland. I miss him so much. I can’t wait to give him a big hug.
